Based in Nonthaburi, nationwide delivery with custom cutting to site dimensions and COA on every lot — tell us your temperature and size in chat for a quote right away.

Standards & Certifications

Welding blankets tested per EN 1869:2019 (European fire blanket spec), FM 4950 (US Factory Mutual, 3 classes A/B/C), NFPA 51B (Hot Work Permit), and NFPA 701 (fire propagation test). Continuous service temperature: Fiberglass 550°C (texturized to 800°C), Silica 1,000°C (peak 1,300°C), Ceramic fiber 1,260°C (peak 1,650°C — ASTM E136 non-combustible). Test methods: ASTM D6413 (flame resistance), ISO 12127 (heat transmission). Thai government and petrochemical TOR commonly require FM 4950 Class A (heavy slag, 1,260°C). Every batch ships with COA + UV coating spec + dimensional certificate. Custom cutting available with Hot Work Permit documentation packet.

Fiberglass Welding Blanket — Economy / Light Duty (Class A)

Welding Blanket — Light Duty (Class A range)

Purpose & best fit

Woven fiberglass welding blanket for general MIG/TIG/Arc welding, abrasive cutting, and hot work permit scenarios where spatter < 760°C. Lay on floor, hang as curtain, or drape over flammable equipment. Class A spec range for typical light-spatter work (certifications sourced per project requirement).

Working principle

E-Glass fiber woven plain/leno blocks ignition via high melt point — 600-760°C sparks land and quench instantly without scorch, melt, or toxic smoke. Reusable 50-100 cycles when stored dry.

High-Silica Welding Blanket Vermiculite-Coated — Heavy Duty (Class B)

Welding Blanket — Heavy Duty (Class B range)

Purpose & best fit

High-Silica fabric (SiO₂ ≥ 96%) with vermiculite coating for heavy welding, plasma/oxy-fuel cutting, gouging, and slag splatter at 760-1,090°C. Tolerates direct flame exposure briefly. Primary choice for shipyards, pipeline construction, and heavy industry.

Working principle

Tightly-woven high-silica fibers + vermiculite (expandable mica mineral) coating that expands under high heat, forming an insulating layer preventing scorch. Vermiculite also reduces smoke and boosts flame retardancy beyond uncoated silica.

  • Plasma cutting, oxy-fuel torch work
  • Air-arc gouging, carbon-arc cutting
  • Shipyards, pipeline construction, vessel fabrication
  • Hot work permits where slag can splash
  • Drape protection near sustained high-heat sources

Benefits & outcomes

  • Withstands 980°C continuous — handles slag + light molten metal
  • Vermiculite coating reduces fiber shedding — non-irritating
  • Asbestos-free regulatory-compliant material
  • Industrial-grade — spec matched to TOR-specified standard
  • Certifications (FM/ISO/ANSI) sourced per project requirement

Silicone-Coated Welding Curtain — Non-Itch / UV Filter

Welding Curtain · Operator Comfort · UV Arc-Flash Protection

Purpose & best fit

Fiberglass cloth with double-sided silicone coating (translucent orange/dark-green/yellow) used as welding bay curtains — filters UV arc-flash radiation + blocks spatter simultaneously. Long-life because silicone prevents fiber shedding; smooth, non-irritating surface for operators in frequent contact.

Working principle

Silicone elastomer fully encapsulates fiberglass fabric on both sides — operators can handle, roll, hang it without itchy fiber dust. Translucent colors filter UV (280-400 nm) from welding arcs while passing enough visible light for supervisor visibility. Withstands spatter ≤ 500°C.

Real-world applications

  • Welding bay curtains in shops with foot traffic
  • Dividers between multiple welder stations
  • Spatter + UV barriers in fabrication areas
  • Frequent-contact applications (non-itch handling)
  • Sites needing visibility + UV protection

Benefits & outcomes

  • Non-itch — silicone seal prevents 100% of fiber shedding
  • Filters arc-flash UV — reduces arc-eye risk for passers-by
  • Translucent — supervisor maintains visibility
  • UV-stable outdoors — silicone won't degrade in sunlight
  • Easy wipe-clean — resists oil/grease splash

Ceramic Fiber Welding Blanket — Foundry / Class C

Welding Blanket — Foundry / Molten Metal (Class C range)

Purpose & best fit

Aluminosilicate ceramic fiber blanket — highest temperature rating in the welding blanket family. For molten metal splash, foundry operations, billet/ingot quenching, forge work, and hot work permits with slag > 1,090°C. Floor cover during metal pouring + billet drape during transport.

Working principle

Aluminosilicate ceramic fibers (Al₂O₃ 45-50% + SiO₂ 50-55%) — refractory rated to 1,260°C continuous. Fiber structure traps air → low thermal conductivity → slow heat transfer. Chemically inert against most molten steel/aluminum/copper.

  • Heavy weld with sustained slag (e.g. submerged-arc)
  • Furnace insulation patches + door seals
  • Hot work permits with molten metal > 1,090°C

Benefits & outcomes

  • Highest temp in welding blanket family — 1,260°C continuous (foundry grade)
  • Low thermal conductivity — slow heat passage, protects substrate
  • Chemically inert — no reaction with most molten metals
  • Wire-mesh reinforcement option — tensile strength + heavy use
  • Direct asbestos replacement for foundry applications

Common Questions

Before you send an RFQ

Q1.Fiberglass vs Silica welding blanket — difference?+
Fiberglass 600°C for general work, cheaper. Silica 1000°C + chemical splash resistant. Ceramic 1260°C for heavy duty (plasma cutting). Choose by peak temperature.
Q2.FM 4950 Class A/B/C differences?+
Class A: light splatter. Class B: heavy splatter + slag. Class C: direct molten metal contact. Most welding work fits Class B. Use C for steel casting.
Q3.Washable? Lifespan?+
Fiberglass-coated can be damp-wiped, not submerged. Lifespan depends on frequency + heat — typically 1-2 years with daily use. Monthly hole/burn inspection.
Q4.Custom sizes available?+
Yes — stock sizes: 1×2 / 2×3 / 3×4 / 4×6 m, or custom cut to spec. Sewing thread + grommets per requirement.
Q5.Hot Work Permit standards we follow?+
NFPA 51B + OSHA 1910.252 + AWS F4.1. Requires fire-watcher minimum 30 min post-work + LOTO (OSHA 1910.147) of nearby energy systems.
