“Anode” covers several unrelated product families. This page shows the shapes we actually ship, with the dimensions written on the drawing, and states plainly what we do not supply — so you can tell in a minute whether we are the right supplier, instead of after a week of emails.
Answer these and we can usually quote on the first reply. Skip them and we will have to ask anyway.
1
What is the steel sitting in?
Seawater / brackish
Fresh water
Cast in concrete
In open air
Buried in soil
Why it matters
An anode needs water or concrete to carry the current. If the steel is in open air the anode does nothing, even when every block is welded on.
2
Corrosion, or marine growth?
Corrosion (we supply)
Marine growth — MGPS (we do not supply)
Why it matters
These use entirely different anode families. Corrosion uses sacrificial zinc/aluminium; marine growth uses powered copper.
3
What size and weight?
I have a drawing
I have a photo of the old one
I only know the weight
Not sure — please size it
Why it matters
Millimetres are fine — e.g. 45 × 100 × 450, or Ø100 × 68 with a Ø14 bore. A drawing, or a photo of the old one you removed, is the most reliable of all.
4
How does it attach?
Welded
Bolt-on
Wire-tied to rebar
Shaft / centre bore
Why it matters
Same dimensions with a different attachment is a different part — welded, bolted, wire-tied or shaft-mounted must be stated before we quote.
What we ship — shapes and real dimensions
Every dimension below is a size we have actually supplied, not a catalogue illustration. Other sizes are made to drawing.
Concrete-embedded anode (rebar protection)
Example size
A size we actually ship: Ø60 × 30 mm thick · not less than 60 g of zinc
How it attaches
Stainless tie wires lashed to the rebar, then cast into the concrete
Environment
Rebar in concrete — bridges, piers, piles, coastal buildings
Standards
ASTM B418 Type II
มอก. 3029-2563
ISO 12696
Round anode with a centre bore
Example size
A size we actually ship: Ø100 × 68 mm · Ø14 mm bore · 2.6 kg net
How it attaches
Slides onto a shaft or pin through the bore, or bolts through it
Other sizes are made to drawing (minimum order applies).
What we do NOT supply
These come up often. Saying so here saves you the wait for a quote that was never going to come.

Copper anodes for marine growth prevention (MGPS / anti-fouling)
A different job from ours — the copper is powered to release ions that suppress barnacles and mussels. It does not protect against corrosion and is not a sacrificial anode; it always comes with a current-control panel.
Go to the maker or agent of the MGPS system named on your drawing — the anode has to match that controller.
ICCP — impressed current cathodic protection systems
It drives current from a transformer-rectifier through permanent MMO/titanium anodes with potential monitoring. We supply only the galvanic (sacrificial) kind, which works without any power supply.
If your spec calls for ICCP you need a dedicated CP system designer — we can still help you check whether your job truly needs ICCP.
We supply and deliver the parts; we do not take on installation or repair contracts.
Buy the parts from us and have your own contractor fit them — we will send the mounting details for them.
Corrosion protection for buried pipe or tanks in soil
Buried work needs soil-resistivity measurement, a designed groundbed and special backfill. That is system design, not supplying anode blocks — our range is for water and concrete.
For the parts above ground or in open air, a coating system is both cheaper and effective — we do carry protective coatings.

Send the drawing — that is the fastest route
A drawing, or a photo of the anode you removed, beats any description. If it turns out not to be ours, we will tell you straight away.
